The waves are crashing
they crash against us mercilessly
and the abyss roars
and chews down our view ruthlessly 

So we sail away
with empty eyes and tired hands
confined in this world
with such basic demands

Motionless
somehow lifeless
yet peaceful
steady heart

Because we beat
but not in fear
Maybe for ignorance
free of smears

but our world can be at ease
and see the happiness in a frown
